What is the proper and legal way to dispose of hand gun ammuntion? I recently purchased the contents of a storage room at auction and among the contents were several boxes of ammo of various calibers. Where may I be able to find an orignal Jericho 941 with both barrels? And find more barrels that fit? I'm just looking for this gun because the notion of it has sentimental value to me, and I understand it's also very customizeable. I don't care if it's a "crap" gun, or if there is a better type that you want to tell me about, I know this is what I want, but I'm having a difficult time finding one that isn't on a stupid auction site. What to do with a gun estate? My son’s father in-law passed away a few days ago and left a gun collection behind. Maybe 30 or so guns both hand guns and long guns. So my son is left with the chore of finding the vale of these guns and selling them for his mother in-law. So folks, besides the obvious online gun auctions like Gunbroker.com, where can he go to find their true value? I can address the condition of the firearms but assessing their value is out of my league. And we live far from any large city. I advised him to photo all of them as well as list info on them. Are there online firearm appraisers that can be trusted? Thanks. There are no consignment shops in the small nearby town. Folks the only way to ANY city over 2,000 people is by plane or boat 90 + miles away or by car 8 hours away and that would be through Canada whom would frown on all those guns going through. What does it take to legally purchase a silencer in the USA? I have some rifles that i enjoy shooting in my rural Iowa backyard, as well as in the near future planning on getting a Tactical USP45 handgun, which already comes with a threaded-end barrel and raised sights, ready for a supressor. I had always dismissed the supressors i'd seen in gun magazines or on gun auction sites, assuming you would need to have an FFL to posess one (i understand though that anything like that will need to be shipped to an FFL, i have a friend with one for that) but lately on here i have seen people talk as though a simple $200 tax stamp allowed a 22 year old USA citizen such as my clean-criminal-record self to then purchase a professionaly built silencer/supressor for my firearms (most likely just the USP to start) since while i always use hearing protection, it would be nice if i didn't HAVE to (bad ear though mandates it with anything louder than .22LR). So where would i start in trying to facilitate my owning a silencer? And i'm not building one! Naughty! And yes i understand that the effects are not anything like hollywood portrays, but i'm just saying that if there was a way i could have a silenced USP45 that allowed me to shoot in my yard (i have enough room to set up some cardboard targets for a tactical course, i know of some people in town who are really into this stuff also). I have a weak left eardrum that pops for a few hours if i shoot anything from a .38sp or .223rem or larger, so if i could reduce my .223 or a .45acp to being a sound closer to that of a .22LR or .17HMR, then i can safely fire without hearing protection. I'm not going to be heartbroken if this is a next-to-impossible kind of thing, where if i'd be better off trying to get an FFL license first is the amount of work it takes, i can just settle with not having one. I primarily just want it for putting on the Tactical USP45 for the sake of it then being more unique, cool, and more of a militaria sort of thing in regards to collecting guns. Like how it's cool to have a bayonet for a gun you probably would only use for hunting deer (like a G3 .308)

the correct bullets for this gun.??? I bought this gun at an auction. then went pick it up at a gun shop as the rules are. but didn't ask enough questions. I thought I could use the bullets from my .22 cal winchester rifle. .22 long. but when I take a closer look at the pistal. I'm not sure if it is ok . the gun has two cylenders. one is marked .22 mag the other is marked .22 long. but the bullets say MINI mag. this is a 6 shot revolver made in italy. I don't see a date or model number on it. I do see this. down one side of the barral is. MANUAL FREE FROM EAA CORP-HIALEAH-FLA THWE OTHER SIDES SAYS. MOD.EA-MADE IN ITALY is this the correct bullets for this gun. they seem to fit perfectly in eather cylender. what is the date and worth of this gun?? This gun was purchased at an auction. Unsure of the worth or actually what kind it is. It shoots 22 cal. there is a serial number of "311551" on the handle and barrel with the word GERMANY. It has a buffalo on the handle, appears to be in a dark wood look, close to the barrel there is a small lever to reload the gun, unsure if the barrel flops out. I don't know where to go to look it up since it has Germany stamped on it. The seller requested that I use a USPS money order to pay him. This is not out of the ordinary for this site. So I sent the money, and now this guy has been ducking and dodging phone calls and email going on 3 weeks now. Suddenly, they now appear only on the gun auction sites, sold one-by-one by individuals or dealers. What happened? Have the Czechs stopped exporting them? Bought property on land contract to make monthly payments for 10 years.Seller has right to use barn for storage until the month of July.He has right to hold an auction.Seller left the poperty in a mess.Use velicles, trackers, junk, metal pecies, garbage all over entire property. I'm trying to clean up property.Seller came on my property without giving me notice according to contract. He got in my face and said I was stealing his property that he left all over property.Spit was coming out of his mouth going on my face. The deed is retained by the seller in a land contract. I have the right to use,occpy, and enjoy the land. And having to clean up the property without being acused of stealing. Without being harassed. The contract didn't say any thing about the junk left all over the property other than what was left in the barn. The contract saids "The buyer accepts the property "as-is" without any type of warranty thereon. Additional agreements: Seller and buyer agree that both partyies agree the seller has use of the garage until July of 2006 with no storage fee and will be allowed to have an on auction on site. The seller then has 30 days from date of the auction to remove the rest of sller's possions.
