How much cheaper are cars at dealer auctions?
In general. I realize its an AUCTION, so obviously the price depends on how many people bid on the car. But just an estimate? I know KBB.com can give you new car wholesale but what about used cars?

- Dealer auction prices are essentially wholesale prices (think, trade-in prices) that allow dealers to buy wholesale and sell at retail for a nice profit. You can check kbb.com for trade-in prices, although dealers have a proprietary "black book" which guides them in knowing maximum prices to bid. If you are not a dealer, you can still find public auctions, police auctions, repo auctions, and unclaimed vehicle auctions that you can attend. The "catch" is finding them and know when they are held, and know their rules. Here's an article that might help: http://www.leaseguide.com/Articles/publiccarauctions.htm .

- bittersweet., I found a list of several auto auction and government seized websites. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Government-Seized-Auto-Auctions.html These sites probabaly have a FAQ page to help you. It looks like they cost a little bit to join, but I couldn't find any free resources in my searches. Since the vehicles are always being sold, your signup fee is probably used to employ people to keep the site up to date.
